Attachments can be sent either as a stream or embedded in the payload as Base64.

Scope

This document will guide you through the process of configuring a dedicated Message in Unifi to handle sending and receiving streamed attachments. The components to configure are as follows:
  • Message
  • Scripted REST Resource
Once configured, you will go on to test.

Approach

In this guide, you will configure a dedicated Message as part of the Incident Guide Integration (created when following the Bidirectional Asynchronous Incident Guide). It is assumed that the Process, Web Service, Integration & Connection are already in place (if not, please ensure that those elements are in place before continuing).
